About Space B
Space B Gallery is tucked away in a carriage house at 257B W. 19th Street. Between 7th and 8th Avenues, it is situated near the Chelsea art district of New York City. It is an unexpected space that is not your typical gallery. It is part of the working studio of New York painter Alex Schuchard.
The space is transformed from a studio into a forum for some of the best emerging and established artists. With rotating group shows that revolve around contemporary art issues and ideologies, the common thread of the work at Space B is one of craft and quality.
The space is open to the public during exhibition hours and by appointment.
